Since its founding in 1970, D’URBAN has pursued suitmaking tailored to Japan’s climate and the physique of Japanese wearers. To bring the value of its long-established brand to a wider audience, D’URBAN has strengthened its digital communications through its website and social media, releasing a series of original content pieces.
Following last year’s collaboration, IN FOCUS was in charge of the project’s planning, editing, interviews, copywriting, and visual production. Through content created from multiple perspectives, we communicate the brand’s craftsmanship and commitment to Japanese manufacturing.
Now celebrating more than 55 years since its founding, D’URBAN continues to produce high-quality garments with a strong focus on domestic manufacturing. This latest feature was designed not only for suit enthusiasts but also for those who are new to wearing suits, making the brand’s appeal more accessible through a variety of topics, including recommended spring suits, suit care guides, and a behind-the-scenes visit to a shirt factory in Kagawa.
A key aspect of the project was presenting D’URBAN’s history and dedication to quality in a way that remains approachable to audiences without specialized knowledge, through carefully considered language and visual storytelling. Throughout the year, the content series will continue to highlight the brand’s values and its enduring commitment to craftsmanship.
